Just out of interest, how often do you guys change your shockers and steering damper?
Mine have been on the Rangie since I've had it, no idea how old they are.
I don't do any extreme off roading or anything, but I had had a worn shocker on my classic Rangie once which caused weird tyre wear problems on that wheel.
Cheers, Pete.

I changed my shocks at about 200,000km 'cos the ABS was pulsating when under brakes on a rippled road. After new shocks the symptoms went away.

Changed mine after the Birdsville run on corrigated roads, which absolutely nakerd them. They were the original BOGE shockers, which i find ok but ended up changing for a set of Foam Cell shockers from britpart, then later to TerraFirma Gas shocks which are still on the car today.

Changed my shocks and steering dampner last weekend, not due to any interval being reached, just wanted to get that Range Rover "Boge" suspension feeling back rather than the jarring "Bilstein" feeling :o

Is better, but think the bushes are next.

I have Bilsteins and they certainly don't give the expected Range Rover smooth air ride.

Thanks for the replies, always interesting to hear others experiences.
Mine has just gone over the 200k mark, I'm guessing original shocks and damper on there still.
Paul, did you notice much difference with the new shocks or any improvement in the steering with the new damper?
Thanks, Pete.
