Whereis version 19 Navigation Disc Update Installation Problem

Hi all,

I have just purchased version 19 of the Whereis factory navigation disc. The instructions said to have the engine running, eject and remove the old disc and insert the new disc. Up on the screen, it said to press to continue the installation and would take 15 minutes for the update. The system then turned off and turned back on again displaying the "Land Rover" logo then went to the menu screen. after a period of approx. 30 seconds, the screen turned off then turned back on again displaying the "Land Rover" logo then continued to the menu screen. This process continued for approx 25 minutes which by that time, thought that something was wrong. I touched the "settings" button on the screen which seem to work fine, I then went back to the navigation button which I was unable to select. I ejected the disc and re-inserted which again continued with the same problem for some time.

Has anybody updated the navigation system and come across with the same problem?? Is there something I'm doing wrong??

Found out the answer.......patience, took nearly 2 hours to load ;)

G'day John, are there any improvements to the code or is the DVD just a map upgrade?

Mostly map upgrades however a "cancel route" button is much easier to find on the main menu. Apart from that, generally the same however am now keeping on road rather than crossing numerous country fields on a country trip :D
