I have an old Vickers Easyrider (15' 5 ") and the canvas over the front has gone to pieces.(haven't used her in ages -poor thing ;) ).

Does anyone know where I can get another cover made up with good quality canvas for her( Sydney area).Does Nan's Tarps(Lidcome) do boat covers?
I know that they do tarps etc-used to get tarps from them years ago.

Thanks

cheers

If you do get a price can you let me know, mine is getting shabby too.
Im considering getting a workmate to do mine. Its his trade and is getting back into it for cash income.Waiting to see a few of his jobs first, your price will give me an idea if he is ripping me off.

Hi LandyAndy,
Will do, I have a mate at work -his missus is a seamstress by trade but the arthiritis is killing her-Dr told her to give it up..not likely.

Not sure if she has any canvas for such a job,but will ask when I'm back at work(hols until end of month).

cheers

There is a forum called fishnet.com.au and they have a boat section, you'd probably get more recommendations on locals on that site, if you don't do any good here.

actually it is probably the MOST UNDER MODERATED Forum on the net,:o
just about anything goes and the mod must be part time, cause a lot of stirring goes unchallenged/censored. I'm sure we can put a sub forum in the off road scene and they wouldn't even know it's there. They probably just think its bait or something, a few baits go out and others get hooked. pardon the pun

I wouldn't really bother looking too much, it's gone down hill, lots of decent people have left over the years.

If you still have the old canvas any decent canvas place should be able to produce something for you, Nans tarps are still in Lidcombe or you could give Ace canvas (http://www.acecanvas.com.au/) at Taren Point a call.

Hi Bushie,
Still got the old one that they can use as a template. :)

The poles are still in good condition so they can utilise them instead of getting new ones. :)
