WANTED: 1997 300tdi front RHS steering assy URGENT

Hi all,

One of our trucks front RHS wheel hub assy has exploded not far from Roma QLD and subsequently need a replacement complete front assy from the half shaft backwards, including HS,CV,swivel and housing, brake caliper and new front vented disks and pads.

Anybody in the local area that might have one lying around would be a complete hero. We will pay for parts and delivery. It basically a later 24 spine job that we need, pre ABS.

Gonna talk to British Off Road and see what they've got as we need it bolted on and sorted by the end of the week.

Yep add my vote for calling MR Automotive - they've shipped bits to me in the middle of QLD overnight - freight costs are surprisingly reasonable too. Roma is on a major highway, so lots of options to get the parts there.

Hey guys. In the end we decided to use British Off Road based in Brisbane, due to James having used them before. We got the parts as ordered and the sales staff were very helpful in ensuring we got all the right parts to get us back on the road. However, there was a bit of a cock up (mainly due to TNT) and they were very slow to offer us any assistance without being constantly hounded. When the parts finally did arrive, 10 days later, it was not a big problem to fit them and we now have 4 working wheels on the car (a certain benefit). Thanks again for your suggestions guys - we will no doubt come knocking for more help before too long!
