Has anyone tried OZraster (http://www.gpsoz.com.au/ozraster/index.htm) digital maps?

I've bought a iPad GPS app called TwoNav (https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/twonav/id515257832'mt=8) and appart from a clunky UI, it seems OK. What swayed me was the ability to render 3D views (see pic for sample)

This image came from the sample of the OZraster NSW Toppo collection which costs $149

I've looked at the Hema and Memory-Map topo options and would probably go that route except for the lack of 3D rendering on the iPad.

Can anyone give feedback on the OZraster maps - are they accurate (locked gates etc)?

From the Ozraster link

Data is supplied by NSW Land and Property Information (LPI), 2012 release.
Maps scales are in 1:25,000 (Eastern region), 1:50,000 (Central Region) and 1:100,000 (Western Region)So the answer to are they accurate ? will be no.

Some of the LPI data is way out of date, even the recent series 3 paper maps leave a lot to be desired, if the maps are the older series then they will be well out of date.
Not the fault of the supplier, but NSW gov.

Thanks Martyn - what would you consider to be the most up to date digital maps?

The most up to date are possibly those maps, it's just that the base data that they are based on isn't particularly good in some areas (NSW).

Given that I'm new to toppo maps in general - which source of maps would you recommend? I've read that some are better than others with regards to displaying locked gates etc.

Thanks for your time replying :)
