Iv just blown a hole in the side of the hose coming from my air cleaner to the top of the engine. There is an added hose coming out of the side of it which is clearly after market which leads to the gas system. I was wondering if this hose is just to take air into the gas system and also where does the lpg enter the cylinders from. Thanks for the help guys.

Why do you imagine that hose puts air into the gas system???? It actually puts gas into the air intake, that being the reason why they backfire and split the hose.

You will need another air intake hose and install the internal gas mixer out of the old hose. Then you need to tune it for LPG, fit spark plugs 1 heat range colder than stock, gap 0.7mm/0.028" and timing at 10 degrees BTDC at idle.
