Reckon I might have pulled up alongside you at the bayview lights this arvo.
Seen a D4 that looks very similar, sure there cant be 2 in Darwin, I was in my work car, so wasnt in the D3, but nice looking ride if its yours.
Cheers Ean

Thanks Ean - yeah I would've been there a bit after 4pm... were you in a Pajero? :)
I wasn't all that keen on the look of the rims online but in the flesh I really like them! The matte finish really works - they have a really good rugged look.

No I was in a gold ford ranger ute and turned right into bayview.
I was never a fan of the black rims but when you see them on a white car they really set it off , especially with the black bar work.
The D4 is a smooth looking ride anyway, but with L/R the white and black is always a standout... The father in law has a white D2a with all the black bars etc and its a real eye catcher.
Anyway enjoy the new wheels,
Cheers Ean

I'll have to catch up with you NT boys when I'm next up there - I have a vessel (30m MV Aracat aluminum cat. ) I'm trying to sell in Darwin Harbour, well currently at the quarantine buoy evidently, due to some unexpected "marine pest' issues!

Looks great! Agree with other comments that white with black go well together.
Have you noticed any issues with Cooper Zeons rubbing on the ARB bar at full lock? Regards, David

I do hear a bit of a rub at full lock yes - not sure exactly where it rubs. I've had setups on other vehicles where they might rub at full lock and not too worried about it and it just seems like a light rub. I usually just have it in my mind subconciously and don't full look the steering much.
I have a LLAMS installed and have it on one knotch up all the time so this might help a bit too.
