Hi All Hope your weekend is going well. The DRY season has kicked in up here in Darwin, with a beautiful cool morning and windy day. June long weekend will be great.
The tow bar. Would like to hear from a 130 owner who has a tow bar and long range replacement fuel tank fitted. What make of tow bar do you have fitted?
A retailer told me that their tow bar would need to be modified to allow a long range replacement fuel tank to be fitted. So would like to get one that does`t need a mod.
Hayman Reece said to ask tank makers. Brown Davis replied but couldn`t say. Longranger Havn`t replied.
:)
Cheers for now John

John,
Have you considered sill tanks?
Mulgo were manufacturing them for the 130
I had trouble finding the tanks on the website.
It might be worth contacting Daniel directly to see what he can do.

Thanks for your reply James
A sill tank would help with departure angle over a big tank outthe back. Brown Davis make a 100 litre sill as well.
The big tank is a maybe at this time, but would like it to fit without having to modify a tow bar.
The tow bar is the important item now, and hoping it`s compatable with a tank.
Cheers John

The genuine land rover one, will suit with a long range tank, as would the NATO ext mount like I have on my 130.

Yes mines a NATO pintle, however the mount will take other type of couplings
I think the Dixon plate may also suit, as it will not interfere with the rear tank, I have looked at the long ranger tank and I think it best suits the 130.
No extra pumps , just fits utilising the standard pipes, I personnely don't like the side tanks, replacement of the rear tank I think is better.
