That is a nasty looking toad! Any idea what species it it? Sounds like it is in South Africa from the guys accent..... will have to Google it.

Looked it up. It's an African bull frog. Second biggest frog in the world. Biggest is the Goliath frog of the Congo Basin which grow up to 3kgs.
