Gday

The Defender bulkhead I'm using for my project Landy has a few rust holes. I was looking on the Devon 4x4 website and noticed these

Body Parts - Defender (http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&category_id=1013102&page=shop.browse&Itemid=14&limit=20&limitstart=40)

Does anyone know of an Australian supplier? I imagine postage will be a bit dear from the UK

Thanks

Postage will be about the same cost as the parts but......they will still probably work out cheaper than buying the same parts here.

Most of the UK parts suppliers have the same repair panels, I found a Bearmach list for them somewhere.

Have a look at the Four Wheels Drives in Melbourne (fwd.com.au) and download their catalogue.

Note the download link only appears to work from the home page or here: Download our Catalog (http://www.fwd.com.au/download).

Note their part nos. aren't LR part nos.

I got a quote for the foot well sections a few months ago.

Might it be possible/cheaper to weld repair your bulkhead, then hot dip galvanise the whole thing?.

Was looking to repair it but will be a fair bit of work to get it right. And will effectively have to make new footwells anyway

Spoke to a galvaniser the other day, he wasn't happy to do the job as it would probably distort etc. Reckon I'll just get a good coat of paint on it once its fixed
