I do not know if I a loosing my bearings but this new age is reaching a point that it is beyond my comprehension about human behavior :(
It is that I am getting old an I am alone or it happens to another white headed AULROvians.
Now in The News (http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-06-01/gender-story/4727326) apparently we can be male, female or just neutrals.
I guess that the solicitors are going to make a fortune out of this.
Just image, as an example now someone will come with the idea to ask to have a 3rd public toilet for the "neutrals" :D
How this neutrals will be able to play sports or in the Olympic games?
Bugger, it is too much for me................................................ ........

When we went to the Queens silver Jubilee celebrations, our ship called in to Antwerp. After a few beers at a corner store type setup, I asked where the toilet was. Was shown a set of stone stairs, down to the basement. So far, so good. I noticed, as you do, no doors on the cubicles. No lid on the toilets, but for someone used to the Squat toilets of Asia, no worries. Then realised, there was only one toilet area. Sitting down, was surprised to see two women [ yes, real ones] come down, and as there were only two cubicles, one stood in front of my cubicle, waiting........ staring, ....a most uncomfortable moment. Not as uncomfortable as my mate, who ,while standing at the urinal, was joined by a ' woman' , quite a looker, who proceeded to relieve her/him/it's/self, and turned to my mate, saying in a deep seductive voice 'HI' . We had a few more beers, had chat to some locals, then moved on , both with the thought ' these Europeans are a funny mob'.:D Bob

You don't see any of that out here....I don't think it fits in with real people getting on with life, working in cow **** or fencing or putting in a crop or getting one out or working in mines black faced or loading trucks by hand. The blokes look at the girls and the girls look at the blokes and after work at the pub theres only 2 doors.....neutral would be the furthest thing on anyones mind. Yeah I'm with you Chucaro. FFS what is going on?

Very different times.
Quite often on abc or sbs there are sex/gender related shows and they go through these sort of things.
They are quite interesting.

Took a bunch of 15-16yr old kids down from Prosvegas to Brisbane a few years ago. Arrived at Roma Street train station about 7pm, walking down the tunnel, one of the boys suddenly points at a couple, and yells out (top of his lungs) 'Those two men are kissing!'
Yet, even in Proserpine, we had a town Transvestite for few years there. Not that he bothered to shave his legs, and to be honest, the sandles and tank top didn't really go with the miniskirt. He didn't even bother shaving his beard off most of the time.
But, yes, there are all sorts, even some who don't fit neatly into box a or box b, either for psychological, physiological or genetic reasons. I also don't doubt that the 'there's no pooftas in the country' attitude contributes to the high suicide rate out here.

I just wonder if it is possible for a person who medically is physically and psychologically androgynous to not have any sexual inclination or desire.
What happens if the person born like that.
Can we categorize this person ?

There are a whole range of syndromes and conditions where people may have malformed, or undeveloped genetalia or other developmental problems associated with the sex chromosomes, along with levels of hormones that are not what you may consider normal.
Here's but one example
Klinefelter syndrome - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
With the rate at "1-2 subjects every 1000 males in the general population", so likely to be some in Emerald, for example.

This is not new or even news for Australia. Since 2011 sex on passports for Australian citizens may be stated as M (male), as F (female) or as X (indeterminate/unspecified/intersex)

I don't care what colour, sex, race,or religion people are, as long as they treat me with due respect then I will return that respect, whilst living in Sydney in the early 80's our neighbours were a couple of gay women, with 2 children of primary school age, they and my daughter got on famously, best neighbour's we ever had while living in Sydney, and I have several friends in both the dog world and the military vehicle world that are long term same sex couples and they are of the highest scruples.

It's rather strange when we hear about the differing behaviour of people from other countries and how they differ from us over here BUT you know I would much rather it out in the open than hidden in the closset as it was when I was a young bloke!!! WAKE IN FRIGHT I think was the name of the movie remember--{no poofters out here]:D

This is not new, only the awarness of it is for some.
People who are transgender, gay, gender neutral, etc have been part of human society as long as there have been humans.
Its only the culture in which these individuals find themselves in that is the thing that changes.

I think that my original post have been misinterpreted and I do not blame any one, it is my "spanglish" :D
I do not have any problem with guys or people with neutral gender.
My concern was what the heading of the news said quote:
A Sydney court ruling which allows a person to be registered as gender-neutral could potentially have legal implications around Australia.
For that reason I put as a tongue in cheek the example of the public toilets.
How we are going to accommodate facilities and administration issues among other things without discriminate people with different social values in our society ?
What will be the cost?
What was the meaning of "potentially have legal implications"

Unisex toilets?
No. That won't work. How do you deal with the seat issue?

We're all human!
There's a club in Sydney (The Argyle) with unisex toilets, the cubicle doors are frosted glass and the individual urinals are a frosted glass semi circular shape reaching just above waist height so as a fellow pees he faces the hand washing area. It is all conspicuous enough that no funny business could go on unnoticed, but private enough to keep private parts private. It's great.

I think the legal implications are that they will need to add an extra box to any government form that exists.
Shouldn't cost more then $10-20B

Excellently put.
I have an issue with someone, it's because they're being a ******; not what their skin colour is, who they pray to, or who they're attracted to.
One thing that annoys me though is how people bang on about tolerance, but sometimes forget that tolerance is a two way street. If you want someone to respect your right to do something, you should respect their right to disagree with it :)

Around Adelaide's parklands traditional male-female toilets are disappearing and being replaced with unisex cubicles, each with washing facilities and canned music to drive yobbos out as soon as possible. I think this is a good idea, as handling door knobs in traditional loos is likely to be a chancy affair.
Personally I like the idea that a strict male/female divide becomes blurred, everyone should be able to have their own private space and the same opportunities in society regardless of what turns them on.
