Someone put some unwanted porn on my Facebook page last Friday. How do I delete it. I asked on Facebook but could not find it again today, to see if I had an answer on how to delete unwanted pictures.

I have since found my post asking for it to be deleted, and it was deleted, but by whom, how, etc., I do not know.

And So I do not know how to get any other unwanted Porn deleted.

They deleted an account made in my name when I requested them to.

John, when you hover the mouse over the post, a drop down option should appear, looks like this in the corner.

I first joined Facebook in order to enter a Land-Rover competition to win a surfboard—which I wanted to sell to raise money to buy a “Mega X-ray” Surf Kayak as I badly need to exercise & have a crook knee/foot meaning I cannot normally walk more than a few Kilometers—I have a fair amount of experience Kayaking, but could not even afford $350 dollars for a second hand one of the Mega X-ray Kayak that I want recently—I am a Pensioner.

And got a lot of people ending up using my Facebook page that I did not expect, and I am not sure how these got onto it. On my Facebook page I do have some kids posting I think—not sure of ages but some posters did look young, I get parents of young children whose kids possibly see my page, a lady dying of Cancer has been invited to join my page after Facebook suggested he as a friend—most friend requests I do ignore, only in order to keep the page more compact—I have trouble keeping up to it already. Also on my page I have Lady Medical Doctor who is a refugee from Iran and recently had passed exams to Practice Medicine in Australia—I met her as she studied for her Australian Medical Exams in the Library were I was using the Internet & she misses her husband who is still in Iran. I do have Ministers and Minister’s wives [one daughter of a widow who is on my Facebook page who had lost her husband & her two oldest teen sons [one was 13] in a small Cesna plane crash some years ago, married a Minister Son—or Grandson of a famous 1950’s/1960’s Famous Rock Star from a well known world wide Rock Group, and so she visits my Facebook page—not sure how often]. A person who is very involved in the running of this AULRO Forum [he can name himself if he wants if he sees this post, but maybe he can keep my Facebook name secret from my critics—do not want to spend all my time arguing with some critics], and another AULRO Forum Member—not sure of his AULRO name, or how he joined my Facebook page, but I do get some great Landrover photos from this AULRO member on my page—mostly from elsewhere on the Net where I never do look, etc. I have also invited four other AULRO members to join my Facebook page—at least one has declined my invitation, and that is okay with me—I avoided Facebook for quite a while myself. And there is one other AULRO member that I will invite if he ever posts again—have not seen a post from him for ages and he may have sold his Land Rover..

But it is some like the lady Dying of Cancer & those with kids, etc. who should not be bombarded with this sort of PORN, which is why I started this Thread asking how to remove this PORN. Your answers are appreciated, even the funny ones.

One couple who uses my Facebook page claimed they do have 500 “friends” on Facebook, and I personally do not ever want to have that many Facebook friends—I do not know how I got a number of those friends that I already do have, but have accepted them all as Facebook Friends—I am not a person who normally rejects someone’s friendship.

I have have not clicked on some ladies who asked to be my Facebook friend when they had listed their interests as “Men” in one case and as “Men & Women” in another case. These might have been genuine very nice ladies who wanted or needed New Friends, but I was so unsure, so I refused their friend requests—the first one lived in America, and the second one lived in a small outback town, and so she may have very few actual friends. I do know that there is a Lot of very lonely people out there surfing the net looking for friends. I recently read Psychology Statistics in a magazine that do say 53 percent of the users of social media sites to connect to others are very lonely. And sadly I think that is going to get worst as people become less dependent on interacting with others face to face [that is not why I originally joined a Landrover Forum, at least I do not think so].

So I do not like refusing friend requests, but do not want to get hundreds of Facebook Friends that I do not actually know. Those I already have that post in English I do accept. I have a number who post in Iranian [one a refugee Medical Doctor who has recently passed Australian exams to Practice Medicine, and who misses her Husband who is still in Iran] and I am not sure what to do with these, as I, and a number of others on my page, do not read their language. I did request that they do give an English translation, which often has not happened.

I would not be offended if someone from aulro declined you on facebook as they probably thought it was just a random person as we mainly only know forum names.
Before you accept someone you can message them and ask them who they are and how do you know me etc.
There are a lot of scammers everywhere on all websites.
They are quite easy to pick out.
I do not know what your privacy settings are on facebook but if they are at default then anyone can see your profile and pictures. It is even easier more someone who is a friend of one of your friends on facebook.
There are so many people who have well over 1000 friends(who I am friends with).
I rarely send invites unless it is someone I have just met and want to stay in contact with them.
I accept most but every now and then delete some or decline some as I do not talk to them and do not care what status they put up, so why have them as a "friend".

John, I do not appreciate any form of hacking. I do not do facebook as well.
You can understand my surprise when I received numerous requests from facebook requesting me to confirm my account. I managed to get into this account. I was surprised it was quite active and had incorrect details. Someone was using my email address and, I suspect, thieving my "on line" identity.
I emailed facebook support explaining the problem and they deleted the account very quickly. I then set up a facebook account which I do not use to stop someone doing this again.
As I have said before (re: the porn), email facebook support to delete it.
Further advice would be to never use facebook. Yes, I get requests from people wanting friends. I ignore them and delete the email.
If you actively use a facebook account, in my opinion, you are inviting trouble.

A bit of Facebook 101.
People that 'add' you are not necessarily your friends. You can and should reject those you don't know.

People on facebook are not necessarily people. You should reject those you are not sure about or don't know.

Facebook suggests friends for you, you should ignore or reject them unless you are sure you know them.

What you see on your feed is not what others see when viewing your profile/wall from their account. The news feed is what other people post on their own wall.

On the top right hand side of your profile page at the bottom of the banner photo there is a little cog next to 'Activity Log', that's where you can find the settings menu. Go to Timeline Settings and make things as exclusive as you please. On the left side of that page is other sections including privacy settings. Manipulate as you see fit.

One thing to be mindful of is that advertising is tailored to suit your browsing history, if you are seeing ads for low brow websites/products/services, you may wish to change your browsing habits. ;)

That depends.
Do you want it to be a personal profile for you that you use to discuss the topic with people, or do you want to be a page or group specifically for discussing the topic?
A page needs to be liked or shared by others to view the posts, or if you have a group you can just invite people you want to discuss the topic with.
Both options are on the left hand side.

Guys, what I was thinking is something that in no way links to my existing Facebook page. Something just to discuss that one particular topic, something open to the whole world. That is open to any one at all who wants to get in to that topic.

And I do doubt even one person on this Forum would be interested in the discussion of that topic.

Every one would be welcome if I get that page going, but I will probably be too busy arguing with Christadelphians-- these Christadelphians, the topic of that planned page do love to argue worst than AULRO members, that is completely possible :D:D:D. And the rules of that page will assume things that some here may disagree with, such as God does Exist. We will not be arguing whether or not he does exist on that planned page, it will be accepted that he does-- otherwise a person will be off that page.

Because that page is for a particular topic-- "Do Christadelphians correctly interpret the Bible."

And this forum is not the place to discuss something like that.

My parents left Whyalla when I was about 5 years old-- do not actually remember exactly. And sadly have not been back since.

My dad, a Linotype Operator/Typesetter worked for the Whyalla New Newspaper I think.

We left when my parents learned my Grandmother had cancer, and we moved to Mount Barker where she lived in order to be near her.

I would give a sermon, but only to a WILLING participant. I will never push a sermon onto someone who has closed their ears, and does not want to listen.

Do Note, Those of you who did read the Soapbox "Does God exist," & "Evolution", etc., you could have avoided that if you wanted. I did not force you to read any of my Soapbox posts.

John, what you want is a page, not a group. You'd have to either be the admin of it or nominate someone else to be.
Perhaps you might like to have a browse of the Facebook guides for groups and pages.

It does not really have to be Facebook, just somewhere with one thread where we can discuss backwards and forwards like in Facebook.

On my Facebook page was an ad to start my own Website for free. I tried but the template would not work. It was a Beta version according to the ad.
