Hi all,

I have what seems to be a mystery object on the side of the EAS box, possibly a pressure switch of some sort. I have also included a pic of where it looks like it got it's supply from. There is a push fit connection on the bottom end which is not connected and there doesn't appear to be any air lines that should be connected to it. It has been like this since I purchased it over a year ago and everything works ok. The wires aren't normally exposed like this.

Does anyone know what it is and what it could have been employed to do.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like an external pressure switch as from your wires they look like they are going to pins 7 and 9 which correspond to the pressure switch wiring pins

as we briefly discussed over on sookbook (and now that I am on a computer with a more reliable connection so I can see the pics better) I am sure someone has had a go at wiring in an alternate pressure switch.

The wires on the plug are definitely those for the pressure switch on the valve block. The external pressure sensor is a give-away as well :)

You could just tidy up the wiring and remove the external pressure switch. It is obviously no longer serving any purpose.

Cheers, Paul.

Plus on for removing the redundant wiring and possibly the switch, if it is not plumbed into the air system that is
