Has this ever been discussed/added to the forum? I love using the app on my phone to read the forum but it would be nice to be able to have push notifications for threads I'm following/participating!

Interesting - is it only available on certain subscription levels as http://www.aulro.com/afvb/mobiquo/push.php seems to indicate it isn't setup.

I was assuming I'd get push notifications on the iPhone for replies and subscribed forums/topics

at the moment, it is available to everyone and pesters the crap out of me all day on my android phone.

in the future it may well be only be available to subscribers because as software goes, it's crap on the server side and has caused major grief over the years.

i have no idea why it shows an error message to you but it surprises me not as i consider it unstable under load and in peak hours aulro is always loaded..

Thanks - whatever you did seems to have worked as I got a notification for it

Now just wait for me to start moaning about how often they turn up :)

all i did was go look at the stats and make sure the key was the same at both ends..

wonder if that will fix it screwing with the stats as well ....

I'd be happy if every forum I visited got rid of Tapatalk.
Drives me nuts every time I visit a forum on one of my iDevices and it keeps asking me do I want Tapatalk.

The answer is no.

Is there any advantage to Tapatalk? On the rare occasion that I use my phone (Sony Xperia) to access the forum, I am asked if I want the app.

Probably not if you don't use it much on your phone. I use it daily and find it handy.

Now notifications are working its good as I get alerted to for sale posts/etc. as they happen.

What does it offer?

It works ok for me . Easier on iPhone to read and post, no worries with zooming in and out all the time.

I am on four different forums on tapatalk and quite happy with it. Nothing special but better than normal format. IMHO.

Plus I can use iPhone smilies 😗😙😜😝😳🗿✔😜💋

Thanks Paul, I might try it; just to be a daring Luddite. :o
