So, been upgrading the lighting in the Rangie this week. Started with a new reverse light - a low profile LED lamp under the back bumper - works a treat.:)

Next on the list was an HID kit for the low beams. Put them in and they are great - now the high beams look like crap, so I'll order another kit for them...:D

As expected, I now get an error message up for the low beams. Can this be programmed out as I can't find any info on this.

Cheers - Gav.:)

Not so much unfortunately. I bought a cheap kit (cos I'm a tightarse:D) and they aren't error free, so I either live with it (no real problem) or find out if I can program out the error from the LCM.:)

Gav, LCM programming possible with either Faultmate or for $20 Navcoder

Apparently IIDTool with latest firmware will allow LCM programming as well. I have not tried it.

I will test it out when the new blue tooth version of IIDTool arrives in a couple weeks, it will allow connection of phone/tablet/PC so you get a big screen!! The tiny screen is my only dislike of IID.

Gav, I only just saw this, I've got Navcoder and an interface, feel free to drop by and I'll do it - takes 5 mins!
