Saw this article the other day. Pretty scary size eh?

We drove from home to Arnhem Land last week and saw more feral cats than we have seen on previous trips. Mostly feeding on road kill. There were quite a few dead ones on the road as well.

have personally shot one a bit bigger than those 2 in the WA Goldfields in the early 90s. They can get rather big.

Saw one in the middle of the Simpson in 1966, so it is certainly not a new problem. Closer to home, saw a large black one near here in the National Park on Wednesday.

A schoolmate of mine had a domestic pet cat very similar in size to these. We'd run around the yard with a length of string and the cat would chase you down and flatten you.

The top picture is black with a long tail. It must really be one of those wild pumas... :D

I have yet to see one stay still long enough to get back to the house, find the keys, open the gun safe, get the gun, and get back to where I saw it!

But many people manage to get their cameras out to take pics with no reference for size they should have had the .22 ready instead and took pics latter:D
