Removing bottom cover from top rear tailgate door

Hi all, have had an intermittent squeak from the rear of my D3 for a while now, every time I got in the back of course it would not squeak.

Found it today, definitely the plastic cover on the bottom of the top rear tailgate.

Just tried to remove it, found the 6 clips along the bottom and looks like the latch lug has to come off, no problem, but then it appears to be riveted or attached some how to the top section of cover, before I get too strong with it is there a trick or some clips that I have not found ?

The section to come off is the one on the bottom of the door that covers the section with the dip in the window from the inside, the bit with the finger grip in it.

Once the plastic surround for the latch is off, then that section just pulls off. There is a little plastic nodule that goes through the bottom of the upper side sections, you just have to pull firmly, and it comes away.

Just had to operate on my tailgate today as switch was not working.
Eventually found broken wire, however have since found this youtube vid on how to remove tailgate trim.

Had a good go at it Dave but appears to be heat welded to the next panel up.
Will have a good look at the video posted and try again tomorrow.

Curious. I've just been out to make sure my memory wasn't playing tricks on me, and there's definitely no sign of any plastic welding on my 2007 D3.

The whole bottom section on mine comes away in one piece, leaving the two pieces up the sides, and the one piece across the top.

There is actually two plastic knobs that fit into the upright side pieces, rather than just one, but definitely just pulls out.
