Hi guys,
Here is an online view of Top Gear US of the 2012 RRS vs American 4x4 muscle. I thought the SRT would do better on the road.
(No hints given by me who wins the challenges or overall)
Enjoy.

Pity about the sunroof leak!

Pity about the sunroof leak!
And the suspension fault too.
I thought they gave up on the Jeep in the snow a bit to early but having said that they did seem a bit shy of taking the Jeep anywhere off road other than driving through the salt water at the beach.

A typical Top Gear total BS test.
One thing it did show is how poor Land Rover quality control still is. I would be VERY upset if my new $75K car leaked and the suspension played up.
Journalists are great aren't they? the guy jumping over the seats and out of the sunroof with boots on, and leaving it open in snowfall. Great example for the kids.
Of course the RRS will be sold as Land Rover USA executive car.
I am afraid that looking at that video has probably meant that I will NEVER look at a Top Gear USA video again. I guess it is not meant to inform but merely to entertain, but to me the yanks must have a curious idea of entertainment.( but I knew that)

Settle! You have to take all Top Gear episodes both UK & US with a sense of humour. Good for a laugh, but don't try to read too deep into the episode.
Looks like you watched the while episode, you could of left the video when they where on the beach.

Being an optimist I continuously thought that it must improve!
By the time I realised that it was all 100% unequivocal BS it was too late.
I must admit I was curious to see how the SRT would do because AFAIK they have no low range and an Escalade is an AWD and did very well in the snow.
I was pretty surprised that the RRS was quicker in a drag race also, unless of course that was rigged.

OK, I did not know that. Did the program point that out when making comparisons? No!
