1996 TDI manual tachometer no go

Hi crew. I have a Tdi and the tachometer doesn't work. Any tips on where to start looking?

the sender on the back of the alternator is where i would start-make sure the wire is plugged in

Same here start at the tacho feed on alt. Was it working then stopped or never worked?:)

Picked up the disco tonight. This one is going to need a bit of work to save it.
