Hi

On the Central Coast highway at Gosford there is a Military LWB Landrover sitting and rotting away.

At one stage it had a for sale sign on it, but that seems to have gone.

I thought someone on this forum may be interested in it, if so I am happy to take some pics and post them, plus try to find the phone number of the owner.

Regards
Steve

Hi Dennis,

I don't think it has ambo markings, but from the configuration it could have been.

Next time I go past it I will take a couple of pics.

Hi Steve,
Bugger...I just joined the forum today. Live in Armidale and was in Gosford two days ago for work. I'm interested and would love a phone number. Particularly if the body is in not too bad shape. I need some windows, door tops, front seats etc. If you could get me a number I'd love it as I get down that way a bit for work.

Cheers
:)

This one has been there for a while.

Since I took these photos someone has pinched the drivers door top.

It deserves a much better fate than this..

Matt.

Crikey! it's been sitting there for a year!!

Hi Matt

It's still there but the support is pretty rusted and the perspex window has fallen in.

I agree it's worth saving !

Hi

It would be a pity to see it broken up for parts, I think it is still in the sort of condition where it can be saved, but not sure how much longer that will be the case!

As far as the price is concerned, to quote a famous Australian "Tell him he's dreaming" :p

The rust is really into the drivers side door pillar so it is not a simple restoration any more
