G'day all,
I have a small veggie oil recycling business and have some excess quality Bio-Diesel available, usually about 100litres a week. I have been making biodiesel for over 15yrs and have run my last two Disco's on it almost exclusively.
This would suit someone who want's to blend their fuel or try Bio-diesel in small amounts.
All diesels can run on "quality" bio-diesel, but it really comes down to fuel component compatibility , fuel filters are a main culprit,as many cheap aftermarket ones are not made of the right materials and react with the fuel.
Bio-Diesel is an excellent lubricant, and tests have shown as little as 1.0% mixed with regular ULSD (ultra low sulphur diesel) can restore the lubricity in low sulphur diesel. A blend of 20% has almost 80% of the benefits of running 100% Bio.
I also have lots of liquid soap/degreaser available!, this is all natural cleaner containing glycerine so it's good for your skin!. It makes a great handwash for the workshop(no girly smell!) and also a water-based parts cleaner and floor cleaner, it contains no acid or petroleum products and is non aggressive. It can also be diluted up to about 30% for a gentle cleanser.
Price for a 20 lt drum is $10.00.
Please send me a PM for details and all questions you have regarding the fuel.
Heres a few pic's of the degreaser on my shed floor, left on for about 1omin, the longer the better!.The fuel is filtered and ready for use.
Thanks and cheers,
Gregg;)
