Hi all thinking of upgrading my 96 disco tdi to a newer model just wondering how much to ask for my vehicle.
It has arb front steel winch bar, steel rear bar with wheel carrier and jerry can holder, Arb ltr shockers, poly airbags, long ranger tank, leather front recaro seats and front and rear Arb air lockers with arb diff lock compressor..
It has done 266000 kms and looks really neat and clean when not dirty lol.
It is burgundy in colour.
I am located in Adelaide can some one please throw me a rough price on what to ask for it that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Ralph.

I recently handed over $2000 (cash drive away price), for a stock standard model of 1993 vintage at a local second hand yard, with similar mileage.
(Admittedly, my DVA Gold card comes in handy when doing some hard bargaining at times.)

Ask around $3500 plus 50% of new price for the extras you have put on it.
Tradein value would be less than this at a dealers.

Your vehicle sounds nice, its all a matter of opinion, but I wouldn't want a newer one.

IMO based on seeing a few comparable quite well set up D1s come through these pages over the last couple of years and if it is in neat and sound condition I would say somewhere around 8 to 10k with the right buyer.
For me, an auto with 266k is a liability so I would be factoring that into any offer I made. Is it auto? Has it had any major replacements/work in transmission/engine?
