fuel guage dramas

When my son starts his 3.9 disco in morning,guage can read half full,by the time he gets to our corner(250 mts) it can read about quarter full.Also,when you realease cap tank seems to have pressure.What gives?:confused:

I knew that the 3.9 was thirsty but 1/4 of a tank in 250 mts. ;)
