I know what normal ones look like and yes they are very nice but I'm sure somebody will be along shortly and point the odd thing about these pretties out ;)

Are these the "overlays"?
I got some them in (brown/red) walnut; they'll have to do till some real ones turn up.
I did find a genuine walnut dash kit though- the ends, centre verticals, door pocket tops; to get rid of that silver/grey that shouldn't be in a HSE!

not overlays .... i assume you mean them cheap clip on things....
I did these my self and if you look at them you cannot tell other than colour which i really like (thats why i did that colour) that they didnt come from the factory.... they are these refinished (secret process lol) then 3 coats of laquer

Fair enough mate. If you start to do this commercially let us all know what colours and finishes you can do. Mine are in need of a refurb.:)

did this too but unsure as to who would want this effect .... maybe rice burners ;)
I did it real quick as it was just to see what it looked like .... flash mower I have now ;)
I can also paint foundry finish EXACTLY the same .... but I'm not ready to offer my services yet :)

is it liquid wrapping? I would be very interested to see how it goes, would love to have a crack at it! That and vacuum forming some more bits to experiment with!

So many things to finish in so many finishes :)

nope not liquid wrap ..... the finish is exactly the same as factory finish and will last just as long ..... expensive to set up tho :( not just couple of cans of paint etc its a whole process

Phil I'm in Bris, let me know when you're ready for me to swing by and check out your car.

I'd be interested in a price to have all the trim and 'wood' panels in mine to the light coloured wood, mine currently is the dark wood.

Thanks
CH

Hey Guys..... so it took a lot longer than a week .... but I am comfortable to do any bodies interior or anything else you require.....
Any thing that can be painted can be refinished ... please check the web site in my signature below ....
I hope i can say this..... I'm not sure I can ..... fingers crossed....

Looks interesting.:). What sort of surfaces can be done? Obviously plastics, etc - but can you do this process on something like plywood, etc? I'm thinking of something like a custom centre console made up out of timber, etc then prepped - painted? Before getting this process done.

Any info on surfaces, prep, etc would be great, I can see myself getting some of this done.:)

I really like the idea of doing power points and light switches - that's neat!

Cheers - Gav

EDIT - any chance you can reproduce the cherry finish from my L322? If you can nail that design, you will end up with a pile of parts in the mail... :)

I'm afraid I cant match the cherry in your l322 but i have contacted my suppliers to see if they can :)
But I can do your custom centre console :) only thing to note is It must be painted by me (only certain types of paint work). You can prime it providing you use a good quality 2pac primer (or I can)
It can be finished in either a gloss 2pac or a matt. (which I must lay also)
The whole thing is a process and must done in a very specific time frame.
Base colour makes a huge difference to the finished result too ... so if you see a pattern on the site you like it may be possible to darken it out..
We also have candies and pearls too ... not sure about for a dash though ;)

I Have so far had no luck in finding they exact cherry finish but I did this last week.....
maybe nicer than the foundry finish for some .... can be made more cherry with a different base colour :)
