What was the reason for the belt change, did you disconnect the battery or any other item, need more info, regards Frank.

Tank is on the money...

Nothing near the belt can stop it cranking.

Is the motor turning over?
What is it doing exactly? Detail matters

All you will do is cement Willy's opinion that Land Rovers are crap and Toyotas are manna from heaven. I went to him for a fuel change as I had a no acceleration problem with my RRC which in the end turned out to be a torn sock filter in the tank letting filter paper from bloody NSW E10 pumps block the inlet of the fuel pump, which I found out myself.

It was there that I garnered the opinion of several station owners that the then new Toyota v8 was crap and the turbo 6 was the best engine ever made. And by gosh it appears they were right!

Thanks Mark, just got back from willies auto in Mataranka, he was fantastic, put a new bearing in and straightened the outer bearing retainer.....all fixed and at a very reasonable cost of $50.00, so again thanks all. Georgia & Gaz.:p:p

Good to hear you've got it all sorted out Gaz.

This type of response and helpfulness from fellow AULRO members and resulting positive outcome plus cost savings is what convinced me to become an AULRO subscriber.
