Hi all,

I recently used a Pixelfix kit to repair the LCD display in the centre console of my 2003 HSE RR (no satnav). The Pixcelfix kit is cheap (around $30) but fiddly. However it worked and LCD is now perfect (and I saved $1670 compared to the dealer quote to replace the unit). However for some reason the buttons on the RHS which control clock, travelling data (fuel consume. etc) and the sound system bass treble are not working any more. There is a connecter on that side of the unit which I have checked a few times, is there any other connector that I could have dislodged? of a CPU to reset. I have used by Faultmate 2 to wipe all the CPU errors I could find but nothing seemed to be related.

Any ideas?

Chris

I have a thought ....
Did you put the little grey buttons back in under the bigger black ones ?
I mean the ones that are actually the switch not the button..... look at this link at around 3 mins he powers it on and swaps the switch from one side to the other....

I hope this isn't your solution as they are so small you may have lost them :(
But thats would be my guess!

Thanks Phil but I did not replace the LCD in the dash, mine is the one in the centre console (the HSE version does not have the color satnav display)
