New or used?
New ouch:eek: over 113k another option would be (yes kill me now) jeep gran Cherokee SR8t with the big v8 and keep the def as the off road vehicle. This would give you the change to do 3things, a) keep the def:D ,b) build a garage with a tool kit, bar and fridge:D c) pay for the fuel for a year or so ,as its a yank v8:twisted:.
They go from 82k drive away or the vapour/ alpine option packs are 88k compared to RRS which goes from 113k for the sdv6 to 176k :eek:for the blown v8, which is a stunning car. So the difference is anything from 25,000 to almost $90,000.

I would rather stick pins in my eyes than drive around in a jeep:D

It all depends how tech savvy you are. The Rangie is a wonderfully advanced beautiful bit of kit but it is a hell of a lot more technical than the Fender.

Why not get a D4 it's the same platform as the RRS and a top of the line D4 would be under that off RRS,and just as capable, then you can keep the Defender.

Congratulations....that was a BIG decision.
When will you have your new beast & what options, if any, did you spec?
How long will delivery be?
Cheers, Pickles.

I bought it Thursday and picked it up Friday.

Traded my defender in and got a 2010 RRS 3.0, premium leather pack, sunroof, satnav and all the normal bells and whistles :-) I have to say I'm very happy with it

I may do the same soon as I'm fed up with Deafeners. Thinking of a D4 or maybe even my younger bros approx. 1 year old RRS which he's not happy with.
Not enough acceleration for the Sidney traffic light gran prix apparently! :p
If I do it though I'll have to get the Cook a new car polishing kit as they'll be getting plenty of scratches.

Mother did the opposite. She upgraded from a 2010 RRS to a 2013 Defender.
I am sorry, but I think you made a poor choice :p
