Mystery metal pressing in 300tdi sump

Hello, can anybody identify the piece of metal found in the sump of a 1997 300tdi Disco?

The right hand piece of gear is the oil tube beneath #3 bore but the other bit on the left has us stumped!

Just found out thanks to Simon at Rovacraft Perth. Obvious when you know. Its the lift pump operating arm. Thanks Simon.
