STIFF STEERING AND HOSES

Had my td5 replaced recently with a disco one. Not long after i noticed the steering getting heavy and wheel not self centering.Workshop said steering pump a little sad,not bad though,and not self centering probably caster.However,did some hard looking and here was two hoses[fuel cooler?]jammed down between engine mount and bottom steering uni!Pulled them out with great difficulty and one worn through a little.Never had this problem with old engine,are disco hoses longer:confused:.Going back to workshop next week so will bring it to their attention.

In so far as I can determine the hoses on the motors are the same whether Defender or Disco. Unless they are non standard? Sounds like the muckenic was a little asleep when he dropped it in to place!
