I haven't heard of the Land Rover story books before, my boys used to love the "Adventures Of Gumdrop" books and tapes :) an old vintage car owned by Mr Oldcastle.

Not sure if they enjoyed them more than I did reading them :D

I wonder if you are aware that LR have shut me down as I have apparently breached copyright by illustrating a books about Land Rovers. They plan to produce their own branded products in the next few years (and just might consider me). So there aren't any other 'legal' LR children's books for sale.
Maybe you could put a thread on that site to say my books are no longer available but there might be some second hand ones available if people want to email me.
All rather sad as I have 25 more stories to do!
Best wishes

My collection of Series 1 80" models is also my grandsons vehicles of choice.:D Nik who's the oldest looks after them but Lukis age 3 wants to crash every thing. some of the landy's are quite expensive so neither gets to play with them. I bought them ( thats what i told my wife:p) a large slot car track & Lule managed to completely demolish the fastest & best slot car in about 5 laps of the track. It took me about 3 hr to glue the body back together it was in about 25 pieces .:( If you are after the books Veronica can kelp with same contacts & she responded to my email over night . Wayne

There are a few available on amazon.co.uk

I didn't check to see if they would post to Australia though. It's a shame that the author has been sidelined by LR.

We just received an email from Veronica about the books via the AULRO Contact Us form. She offers discounts to clubs. Sending the email to us might mean a discount to AULRO.

Just got mine, but the Apple Harvest book seems to have a printing error. I have 4 blank pages mid story.

She also has a special out.

You'd be surprised at how much kids love Haynes manuals, even if they can't read yet.
