Windscreen/bulkheaad foam seal

How hard is it/how much aggro to remove the windsceen frame and replace the seal between it and the bulkhead ?

I need a new windscreen (lovely big crack propagating as we speak) and the foam seal leaks like a seive, just like everyone else's so if it isn't too huge a task....

Not hard... Did mine not long ago. There are 2pins that stick up 20-30 cm on the edge of the firewall on each side. They stick thought the rubber but can be pushed down to allow the rubber to be removed. (They don't bend, but are attached to a metal tab that bends). I ran a spatula across from one side to the other tops no button and then pulled it out.. But of course it broke in several places... But you just keep working within an pulling it out.

How much it fights you will be determined on what sealant was used. Also make sure you seal it up well when you replace or it will leak on the sides and give you the t food syndrome!
