I took the D3 to the Getabout training at Eastern Creek today.
I knew that Discoverys are very capable, but - wow- until you Experience it for yourself, you don't realise just how capable.
It just ate everything I threw it at, rocky, muddy, water, huge ruts and holes.
The guys running the course were excellent.

It's amazing what 4WDs will do, not just the Disco.
Saying that, were there any Disco specific tips or training?

Yes - John and Julie from Getabout are trained on D3/D4/RRS/Evoque/etc. They were talking about starting a local Land Rover Experience centre. When you buy a LR via Purnell Motors, they give you a voucher for a day trip with them - to familiarise the new owner with the features and capability. It involves driving around a property they use near Mittagong, (adjoining a "nature retreat" :o). My daughter had fun learning to drive offroad for the day.

One of the trainers owns a D3.
I got to try and learn all the TR settings and experience the differences.

The owners John and Julie had a silver V8 D3 that looked just like that one.
