I have followed directions as per the sticky but I cannot get it to work. Firstly the website is different from that indicated in the sticke..it has no host button. So I browse, resize, upload photo but that is as far as I can get. Where to now? Jim

I don't know about the sticky but here is how I do it.
Go to ImageShack ImageShack® - Images/Videos (http://imageshack.us/toolbar/pictures.php) and register once you have done this go to the top menu called media upload, select the browse button and go to the folder and file of the photo you want attached to your post.
Select that photo and hit the Upload Now button. Once it has uploaded copy the Direct Link on the list that you will be provided.
Then on your post choose the picture symbol which is the one that looks like the mountain and the sun. Paste the URL you copied in and hit OK.
The photo will be placed where you had the cursor on your paste like this

When you put the link in you will not see the photo until you submit the reply. Then it will show up on your post
Works for me and I am no computer guru by any means.

Much the same for me but I use Photobucket & go to the library of photo's of mine , select the photo & click the Direct copy link & it says "copied", then go back the post then click the mountain box, then delete the http:// already there ( as it is already on the direct link I just copied) then right click in that panel & paste the photobucket link I've saved.
The photo shows up in my post that way, before I submit it.:)

If you are posting photos off your own computer (no hosting site) use the "manage attatchments" button below the post window. Once the thumbnail appears on your post, open the picture in another tab, copy the URL and paste it into the post at the cursor using the "insert image" button.

The website: ImageShack - Best place for all of your image hosting and image sharing needs (http://www.imageshack.us)
I remember there is no need to click host button to upload photos, just skip this step...
