Hello All,

I would like to find out a bit more about the University of Newcastle and its campus at Orange in NSW. Is there anyone who is studying or working there that could drop me a line?

Well it might not be a campus it could just be a Research Centre. I assumed that it was a research centred attached to a campus - it seems like it is a stand alone little unit ... and their website is currently under construction so I cannot narrow down its exact location in Orange. It is definitely the University of Newcastle. That is why I wanted to get in contact with someone from there.

Okay here is a different question - anyone on the forum who lives in Orange?

I believe that there are a couple of members out that way, but I guess it's up to them to reveal that or not. :angel:

Hi , I live in Bathurst and work with CSU in Bathurst. I believe that Newcastle uni has a small outpost in Orange. If I recall correctly, it is attached to the Orange Base hospital?

Discmuppet may know more, he is from Orange?

To be perfectly honest this is the first I've heard of a UoN presence in Orange, but I spend most of my time at CSU in Bathurst so that might be why.
From what I can gather its to do with the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health, so part of the Health faculty of UoN is tacked on to Bloomfield hospital, out near Jack Brabham park.
