very easy you just have to be aware that heavier items can be costly due to freight charges ,I have recently purchased several items no problem cheers ken:)

Dead easy. I saved a fortune on my rear window struts, paid about $26 to the door as opposed to $60 locally at the time. The AU$ has fallen a bit lately but not by much

My only experience is having ordered some gearbox overhaul kits from the UK. Ordered the parts one Friday night online, and they were delivered to my door the following Monday! Must say I was seriously impressed.

Dead easy - just got a full lift kit delivered. Remember to keep it under $1,000 or you'll get taxed on it.

Heavy Items aren't bad either. I bought a towbar for my Skoda Yeti from the UK

The UK and other place are a really good place to get things cheaper, not everything will be cheaper due to the shipping rates, and if theres a retailer in Australia and you buy from overseas them you may not have a claim with regards to warranty.

The cost difference is nothing to do with Australian companies charging you more, cost is relative to what things cost in different counties, the cost of living ,wages, house, cars, manufacturing are all more he so things will cost more.

However theres some companies out there who make far more profit than they really should be. Support us little guys when ever you can.

Will be Interesting to see what happens with the exchange rates, over the last year we have had 17% change against the pound...

However theres some companies out there who make far more profit than they really should be.

That's the biggest problem. There are a couple of Aussie made products that are cheaper to buy for the UK that spring to mind.

Always happy to. Especially you guys who get stuff to us quick.

I like the guys who do internet sales as sort of a hobby/side business/a little extra cash. No staff or shop front over heads means they stay reasonably competetive with O/S sales. They keep a few main line products in the garage that can usually be sent out the next day.

Happy Days.

Theres a number of people who have sold Land Rover Spares on ebay for years, and have a very good turn over, like you say working from there garage or shed, keeps costs down.

I have been asked many times when will I be opening a shop, not a chance I say I will be bankrupt the first day I open, selling Land Rover only products.

We are happier with our dedicated workshop, with all the facilities and equipment required for fit outs, its all got a fully kitted machine shop and laser cutting , machines

Ebay, e-commerce, shows etc are the way to go, unless you are the likes of ARB. TJM etc. Offer good quality products at a fair price.. with good service.
