I had a run around the Land Rover test simulator in one of their D4's on this past Saturday in Darling Harbour (Sydney)

Love it, the interior is one huge step from my D3, and it was my first shot at a 30 degree lean angle.
Very impressive over the articulation ramps as well, and watching the centre diff lock in on the sat nav screen was pretty cool.

Also I'd like to say, they were a great bunch of Poms, we had a good laugh and got an opportunity to enter the 25 words or less competition for the Rubgy test.

Oh and won the tickets...

I have a few pics and vids, but alas cannot get off my phone for some reason. Would try ctrl+alt+delete...

What's the event? Didn't realise LR had a setup there.

LR is the main sponsor for the Rugby, they were touring around in support of the new Ad's that were done for the Tour.

I had no knowledge of it either until i was sent a facebook link from a friend suggesting I should take my D3 on over the obstacles.

Speaking with one of the top blokes running the display, there was a brand spanking new top of the line Rangie parked in the bus loop, I was pushing him to give it a run over the course, he informed me it was waiting to take Mr 007 to the match.

Oh and no I wasn't allowed.

This is the Land Rover youtube channel.

This is a D4 with no E-Diff. Very impressive, lets see this in a standard Patrol or Cruiser.
