Following on from a recent thread where it was suggested that Discos are more Daily Drives and Mud Toys rather than real "working" vehicles, I thought I would throw up a few pics of Landys at work.

Not just Discos, but Landys in general. I'll start with a few of my 96 D1 playing tow-pig moving (some :D) of my BILs collection last weekend.

Even my Workshop gets a job occasionally

ah.... those were the days: 25,000ha drilled, towing in sand all day long, 330,000km, oh and thats 25,000 holes punched too - one per ha - soil survey..... 10 years......

Nothing with a 3.5 tonne towing capacity is a toy.

Anyone taken a look at the film of the Camel Trophy: Land Rover Years

Nothing that survives all that is a toy. It's kind of persuasive.:cool:
