I have been looking at a few Vogue L322`s of late.
Audio quality seems to be less than average in them.
When I jump back in my P38 it is like a breath of fresh air.
My 38 only has the std set up and not the Harmon Kardan.
Its a pretty disappointing sound from such an expensive rig.

You might want to check the condition of the amp in the right hand side luggage compartment. Take the plug off and have a look for tell tale corrosion, BMW in their wisdom placed these facing up, where the sunroof drains.

I havnt bought yet, Im still looking.
Test driven 3 Vogues in the last week or so....all seem to be the same. 02 and 03 models.

I just have the HSE spec 322 and the factory stereo is in my view far superior to the factory 11 speaker HK setup in the P38.

Mind you I feel the clarion head unit hampers the P38, as using an aftermarket unit but leaving the factory wiring/speakers (bypassing door amps) and using factory sub in the P38 increased perceived sound quality immensly.

All in my view ;) took me a bit of fiddling to get the L322 stereo working PROPERLY, was a bargaining point when I bought the car it had suffered from the typical water issue at the back.

Took me a bit to get the tweeters running in the front, sonded very drull untill then.

But then again for clarity the factory setup in the 94 classic is stunning!
