I trying to get the heater working on my landy, as it so cold these days. I checked all the fuses, still I cant hear fan running. what do i do next ? could some one give a bit of advice on this please.

put the meter of the fuse and the resistor pack, if they come up good on a meter put a headlight bulb onto the connections for the motor if the light responds as expected then the motor brushes are U/S.
Have fun with it if thats the case.

I had the same problem with fuses blowing. In my case the fan was seized through lack of use in Qld. I disassembled it, re greased it - and the fan was as good as new. Clear out the little drain on the air intake while you are there.
Now the heater part is a bit misleading I would call it luke warm at best. We had a water bottle freeze in the car at -15C in Austria and then drove for 3 hours with the "heater" going flat out out. The bottle was still frozen solid after 3 hours of "heating".
This brings back fond memories of repairing mine, getting attacked mossies in the forest in Russia.

I agree with danailan check the fan motor hasnt seized and check the air intake for evidence if its been full off water and make sure the drainage hole isn't blocked.
Mine filled up with water over period off time before i got the vehicle and had too replace the whole heater.
