I have a front end shake over 80 kms at present so basically can't drive over 80kms.I have tightened up bearings, checked swivels and basically everything else but I do remember in my old Rangie classic I owned years ago that I had the same shake that was fixed by replacing a set of front end bushes that are generally the main cause of the problem but I can't remember which bushes they were.If anyone can enlighten me as to which bushes they are I would appreciate it.
Cheers
Shane

get somone to stand next to a front guard or bullbar and push the front of the car sideways back & forth as hard as they can , you will probably see which bushes they are, but most likely panhard rod.

Also make sure you have toe out , not toe is as most tyre fitters set it wrong with your free wheel alignment

Just get someone to sit in the drivers seat and rock the steering wheel while you get under and eyeball the panhard rod bushes. 1 or 2mm movement is quite enough to get the speed wobbles. Sometimes the bolts come loose and develop stepped wear inside the bushes. New bolts may be all you need.

Check the shock bushes/rubbers too, wheels can start to bounce if they are perished. Mine was shaking like that at 100kmh when I bought it, found one of the front urethane shock bushes nearly crumbled to bits.

Yeah I still have this happening in the 95-105 range... haven't managed to fix it yet.

Had the same problem with mine after I put some wheels on that I bought from a friend. I was really only after the tyres on them. Front end would shake quite badly between 80-100 kmh. Got the tyres put on my original rims and freshly balanced. The problem has disappeared. Similar thing happened to a friend, had bad front end shake on the way home from 4wding. It was caused by a large amount of mud that had settled inside his rim on one side. Could be worth getting the wheels balanced. :)

Panhard rod bush's are usual culprit and next would be swivel preload, dont discount the damper either.

Radius rod bushes can and do cause this symptom also, especially if the shake is worse downhill, and on a slight bend...
