Hey there folks.
Hoping some of the military minded folks can help me out.
A mate of dads has a habit of showing up with weird stuff to give me, and offering to help push the Disco into a lake if I ever want to do an insurance job on it :p
So, the other day I was given this:

Buyers?

Not having a military vehicle I'm not really intending to keep it so if anyone could point me in the right direction about it, that'd be tops :)
Cheers

I never said either, I just said "T" :p
Or do we differentiate by using "t" vs "T" :D

It's a civvy pintle.
Put it on your Disco and buy a No.5 trailer.

As far as I am aware military pintles do not have tow balls so I it is a civy one. I have seen them on the back of public utility small trucks like Telstra, AGL or your Electricity company.
Military pintles look like this

I reckon the ball will be 2" too, not 50 mm; so very limited/specialized use these days.

You're missing the locking tag Garry.

I think I may be able to get my hands on one or two.

That looks new Mick. Can you still get them new?? I have one of the Civy ones here but it has a metric ball.. Still undecided if it gets placement on the 101...
