Audacity can do it, might take a little bit of tweaking.

you can google youtube-mp3, takes the audio track. Depends if you want all the audio from the ad or just the music, if you just want the music then you need to find out the name of the song.

Old school is definitely the easiest.
Line out from the back of the computer to input of cassette player and record!

+1 this.

there are plenty of youtube video to audio file converter sites out there.
I use this when I've wanted to download a song from youtube and couldn't be bothered with trying to find it on a P2P source.

Hi Kelvin, its all audio ! If you dont want the music bed , what you want is the voice-over.
You could only get this from the original recording master copy held by the recording company. There is no way to successfully delete the background music bed.
For a bit more fun get a digital recording device ($30?) and write out all the character parts and get the kids to take a part each and make your own recording.
Peter.

I use a small free program called "free you tube downloader" and set it to save as mp3.

Hi Kelvin, . Everyone is posting how to download/record the whole advertisement but you said in one of your previous posts that you dont want the music, only the audio.
I assume if you dont want the music then you only want the voices and as I said previously this can only be done from the original multitrack recording. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Cheers, Peter.
