Well we have a slight breez happening here, not ..tearing small branches a crashing them on the roof, debris blowing horizontal, rain lashing the widows. And the poor old house shuddering from time to time...just plugged the geni in and ready to go, and made sure all torches are good. Banbury and Harvey copped it today and I guess it's finally got here...Landy Andy are you getting it inland.? or is it only coastal ..ill up date tomorrow if we're not in Kansas toto ...Gary

Well we survived, most of the night the wind was steady in the high 50s km and my weather station showed high 70s at times, my station is a bit sheltered and and the road in front of me is lined with huge Karri trees which really cop it..a huge limb from the big pine tore off and crushed my rosé arbour, lots of smaller branches down, and my bamboos are being striped. Thankfully no house damage

Was interesting in the city last night. I'm staying in an apartment in Adelaide Tce and sat out on the balcony for a while watching the fun. A bit of outdoor furniture flying around and plenty of horizontal rain, but no real signs of damage.
A bit of water over Riverside Drive and plenty of palm fronds on the road on the way in to work this morning, plus someone's front fence out on the footpath / road on Stirling Hwy, but not much else to speak of.
Didn't make it too far inland - the Mrs said that they got nothing in Kalgoorlie.
Bit different to the other day up in Kal - a couple of photos below of Burt Street in Boulder ..............

Was very windy during the nite Gary,COLD as today.
I spent the day touring the shire removing limbs off the roads whilst the rest of our mob continued delivering gravel to the job.
Was pretty good, only needed to start the chainsaw 3 times.

Looks like I picked the right week for some time up in the sun at Shark Bay & Carnarvon! :D:D
Hope the house is still there when we get back next week.
Stay safe guys.
Cheers,
