Hi folks - I need to put a hole in the side of my tent (camper trailer) to run power leads etc through... I've seen sewn in rubber grommet type things that have flappy teeth to keep it mostly sealed for bugs etc... its normally under the annexe so not too worried about rain.. although for an overnight stopover I guess I don't always put the annexe on...

Anyways I cannot find such a thing on line! I am sure it must be the search terms I am using... trying all manner of combinations of grommet, rubber, gland, tent, canvas, cable, sphincter (I won't search for that term online again :o) etc...

Can someone point me in the right direction to where such a thing might be bought?

Cheers

Yeah I guess that would work... I could even put a flap of canvas across the top i suppose to help with rain... cheers mate.

would you be better to put a waterproof electic plug on the side of the body, then you can just plug the power into that.

Best bet would be to go to a canvas mob and get them to have a look, am sure they would have something.
