Why would you steal a Disco.

Can you steal a Disco II?

driver wasn't charged with motor vehicle theft, so doubt it was stolen.

yes you can steal them
I asked the same question once as to why so many Landrovers got stolen in UK, with immobilisers & such, when it was explained to me its quite simple really, which is why I have a GPS tracker in mine.

Bugger. My last vehicle was a MY05 WRX when I bought it there were none legitimatly stolen since 2001 when they introduced the keypad alarm system. I thought the Disco would be pretty hard to steal unless the system was disabled or the key stolen as well. Thats pretty common these days, break into a house, if a key is found, steat the car. I always keep the keys to my second car hidden if we go away in one.

Happy Days.
