This is the French VBL (Véhicule Blindé Léger) Light Armored Vehicle produced by Panhard.
I came across many of them in south Lebanon with the French UNIFIL troops.
Very interesting machine but I would like to know its capacity in off-road usage especially with the small 95hp turbo diesel Peugeot engine. the vehicle weighs between 3.5 and 4 tonnes.
It has two larger brothers the VBR (Véhicule Blindé à Roues) Armored Vehicle on Wheels

Yes Bob, I like it, it is reasonable compact and looks very capable.
The large models have the Iveco engine.
The VBL have the Peugeot XD3T turbo-diesel 95 hp (70 kW) and by looking at the video the French have managed to get a good use of it
