Hi All
Has anyone purchased one of the Aldi 10" tablets which are on special this week. I am after feedback on these units. I a'm thinking about purchasing one of them to use with ozi explore.
Cheers

I bought one for my Daughter (at her request) last time they were on special. She is very happy with it and uses it every day at Uni, but she has said it can be a little slow and has locked up a few times requiring it to be reset, which is not too big a deal.
For the price, seems to be an ok unit.

I have an earlier one bought last year without G3 or GPS . It is a bit of a pain as you cannot use a G3 dongle in it as the mini USB port has no power.

Given that android to me is a pain, I think I am now getting better at using it. Mine needs file management apps to be loaded (ES file manager) to be able to easily transfer or delete files.

As far as quality is concerned it seems OK, and I am taking it to South America tomorrow so hope it runs well on local WiFi.

Be careful if ALDI offer extras like keyboards later as I bought one and it didn't work on my tablet. I returned it after Bauhn said they were working on a fix and it may be out in a month.

I still do not use it at home as like another member I couldn't see any need when I have 2 perfectly good laptops, but I did buy it for travelling for email and Skype , and web browsing.

I regret not buying an Ipad as they do everything so much easier and better , although I guess you get what you pay for and I don't have a lot of money to spend on a tablet that is rarely used.
