My D3 is starting to "cheap"

Evening all,
The last few days when turning off the motor the D3td has given a loud squeak or cheap ??? almost sounds like a belt slip very short sound, not always but probably heard it two or 3 times in a dozen shut downs. No other sounds when running.
Fuel consumption has not changed, no smoke or anything else.

Any suggestions ?

Is it when you apply the park brake?

Not brakes, just a straight engine off and it goes "chirp" as it stops ? - sometimes !

I would be checking the belt tensioner before it siezes and destroys the belt.
