Hi all,

Received some news today from my mechanic that my power steering pump is very slightly seeping oil, has anybody had any problems similar problems. I was told it was a major job and quite expensive I was advised to leave it until it becomes more of a problem, would it be wise to do it or would it cause further damage?? Could I source the part overseas???

I had to have the power steering pump on my 08 model flushed and drained at around 130k because it was squealing. I've heard of the 07 models having steering rack problems early on as well. That's all I know sorry. Have you checked freel2.com?

Thanks for your reply. There's a lot of threads about what your saying but nothing about a leak from the pump itself. Have been told its very minor and not to worry about getting it fixed just yet. Wanted to see if anybody else had a similar problem but there's nothing at all. No squealing at the moment, maybe that's yet to come!!??!!
