Not being a Darwinite, the thing that come to mind is NT Auto group (?) ... I know they sell LRs but doesn't mean they like to service them? (!) I'm sure one of the members from the top end can point you in the right direction

We have Sutton's here, which (IMHO!) is the LR place of choice ... if worst comes to worst, a phone call to them may yield some good advice :)

Thanks , I called them they don't seem overly keen/too busy to help me I'd rather take it to someone who wants the work or can be bothered calling me back ... Or maybe I just called on a very busy day

Hi Lewy I have no power from the ignition to the coil, the battery went flat and got a new one a few weeks later and it won't start . I'm starting to think its an alarm problem,( it's a 3.9 v8 petrol/gas) it cranks fine

Sorry mate. I dont think the Nanocom is much help for a Disco 1. I do have a box of matches though. How much fuels left in it? LOL

I am planning a trip across the Gibb River Rd next year with a mate from down south. He has a Disco 1 TDi and we are both pretty worried about a break down in either vehicle (I have a Disco 2 TD5). We recon if I break down he will tow me, If he breaks down, I will tow him, If they both break down we'll burn them and claim insurance. (Just Jokes)

Happy Days.

Hey guys the disco started , I've nailed it down to the immobiliser it has a ten amp fuse which seems to have a lose connection at the back of the fuse holder ,(I'm going to put the whole holder out and make sure that's what it is . Thanks for everyone's help , now just to figure out why the clutch peddle is not working and away I go !
